We almost didn't do pumpkins this year. October has been a crazy month and I didn't even get our decorations up. Luckily, Brad's schedule slowed down enough this week that he could be home in the evenings. So on Thursday, while I was at a meeting, he and the kids carved their pumpkins.

Sarah and Chloe did their own again this year, both designing and carving them. Here is Sarah's:

Chloe's pumpkin is a monkey:

Kyle's is an angry pumpkin. He dictated the shapes and Brad helped to carve it. Oh, and Kyle actually scooped out some of the insides. It took a lot of prodding from Brad to get him to help, but he did it! (He has a big aversion to messy hands.)

Brad carved this pumpkin just for Aaron. An homage to his (Aaron's) latest obsession:

"To infinity and beyond!"

Wow, Brad's is amazing! I love it! All the kids are quite creative. :)
Nice work, Brad! Did he have a pattern for that?
Nope, no pattern. Brad is just that talented! You should check out his dragon from last year!
So great! Tyson would be so jealous of that Buzz! Way to go!
Very creative pumpkins! Hope your Halloween was happy. The costumes you made were wonderful, Court! Your kids have creative genes coming at them from both sides. Love, Mom B
Love it! What a creative family :)
They were so proud of their pumpkins that each of them had to show me at least once.
