That was the first time I haven't been excited to get a package! I've decided to risk it though and plant them as well - but definitely with some daffodils. I also think I'm going to try sprinkling some blood meal over everything. It can't hurt! So the summary of my post today is: don't give up on bulbs ,all you flower lovers out there! I'm hoping that spring will make it all worth it!

Bulb Update
So, I think the squirrels only dug up a couple of daffodils, which they tasted and then tossed aside. I can't see any other spots where the dirt has been dug up (and I've been looking closely)- so I'm hoping that my tulips are safe for now. Good thing that I planted them with daffodils, which the squirrels don't like. The day after my rant I got a delivery of a few more tulip bulbs that I had ordered. I'm guessing you meant to write daffodils, cause I don't think anyone actually plants dandelions...
