Firsts

We've had a couple of firsts around here this week. Aaron got his first official haircut. I've trimmed his hair a bit here and there over the past year, but this time, he needed an all over makeover! He was getting pretty shaggy. While I loved the baby curls on the back of his head, everything else was making me crazy. Here is Aaron before we started... During.... We put a movie on to help distract him...

And after... Yes, we gave him a sucker as well. Babies will hold so still when they are nursing a sucker!! :)

Kyle had his first official visit to the dentist this week. He went 6 months ago for what they call a happy visit. It was more about seeing the office, the chair, and having them take a peek or two inside of his mouth. This time he had x-rays done as well as a cleaning and fluoride. He was happy to report that he had no cavities and that he got a Tooth Fairy sticker, a green balloon, and a new toothbrush.

Chloe's first is following in the footsteps of some our our neighbor boys. Two of our little neighbors taught themselves how to ride their bicycles without training wheels. Chloe has been working on this for a couple of years now. I was pretty sure that with these younger boys outpacing her, she would step up to the challenge. Boy, was I right! Yesterday she was riding all over the cul-de-sac like she's been doing it for years! Good job Chloe!!

The only first I can think of for Sarah is that I will be volunteering in her class on Friday for the first time ever! That is more a first for me then for her. And actually, it is her Quest class, but still, I'm excited to see her in action with her peers.
