Getting crafty while laying down

Last night I was getting restless just laying around.  I've got the nesting bug pretty bad, but can't do much about it.  I had purchased some yarn a few nights ago and so I got it out and crocheted a baby hat.  I think it turned out pretty cute!  I kept thinking it was too big for a newborn though.   (Or maybe hoping it was too big!) First I tried it on one of Sarah's dolls.  Then I took it over to Janna's and tried it on her baby who is about 6 weeks old.  The hat was too small for him.  I guess I sized it right.  Later today I thought to go online and check how big the boys' heads were when they were newborns.  Kyle's was 30 cm and Aaron's was 33 cm.  The hat measures about 37 cm, so I think it will work out well.  I can't wait to try it on Emma!
Thanks Sarah for loaning me your shirtless Samantha doll.  Thanks Janna for letting me borrow baby T's head.  Thanks Jen B for showing me how to make bows.  :)

Cute, cute, triple cute! I can't crochet to save my life. I always stand in awe of those who can take yarn and make into something beautiful.

Emma?! Is that going to be her name? I LOVE IT!

Good for you to attempt a brim hat! Those are my evil nemesis! (They are nearly impossible for me to make and like when I am finished!) Looks great!
