I am many posts behind, but didn't want to miss blogging about the latest milestone in our family. Emma is out of her crib and into a toddler bed! She had been climbing out of her crib a few weeks ago. I thought I had fixed the problem by moving her toy cubbies so that she could use them as step ladders. Well, today she climbed out with nothing near her crib. What a monkey! Here is her room with her toddler bed all set up.
Since it is October, we went ahead and put on her Halloween pillowcase. My mom helped me make some for all of the kids when she was here this summer. I was sad to not be able to reuse the crib skirt that I had made. It was WAY too long and wouldn't fit on the bed with the guard rails. Oh well. Maybe I can remake it when she is into a twin bed.The window view...
...and the tree view.
Now to see if she will actually stay in her bed tonight...

Looks so cute, Court!
Her room is adorable. I hope, hope, hope she stays put for bedtime!
Don't tell Maren that ditching the crib is an option! :)
So cute! Good luck, sweet Emma!
Such a cute room - if only the older girls would keep their room as neat as the boys and Emma keep their rooms. hahaha Hope she stays in bed, too. Can't wait to hear.
Nice job decorating! Her room is adorable. Good luck with her staying in bed too:).
Her room is adorable. Is it always that CLEAN!?!? I hope she is staying in her bed now. GOod luck with that!
Misty, I pulled some of the extra toys out for the picture - the wagon full of blocks, toy shopping cart, etc. But yes, it is usually that clean at least before bedtime. Once she is in charge of that instead of me (like my older girls), I'm sure that will change!
