We don't do much for Valentines Day around here. We even almost forgot to have Chloe finish writing on her class valentines. (Luckily, she got them done in the last 10 minutes before needing to leave for the bus.) I've never been a big fan of the holiday myself. Too many bad memories of stressing out over decorating valentine boxes for elementary school (my kids haven't ever had to make a box - yay!), not getting any valentines from boys during my junior high, high school or college years (oh, the angst!), and an inherent dislike for anything that feels forced (I don't want flowers just because it is a certain date on the calendar). Show your love 24/7, that's what I say!
Anyway, in spite of all that, we did do a couple of Valentines-y things this year. I made a baby hat for my next door neighbor's new baby. Her cute baby girl was even born on Valentines day!
I made another hat to sell to a friend of a friend. (Yep, sell! I actually made some money from doing something crafty!) I switched the colors from the earlier hat and did another heart attachment. I just learned how to crochet hearts and I think they are a fun change from flowers. I tried it on Emma to see if I got the sizing right. Emma doesn't like hats and so this was only on for about 2 seconds before she yanked it off.
The kids had a little photo shoot one Sunday morning. Kyle and Aaron sure do love their baby sister.
Aren't Sarah and Aaron cute all cuddled up together? I don't know where Chloe was for this photo shoot. Probably still downstairs getting dressed. We love her too though!
Mwah!

Congrats on making money from crafty things!
:)
Cute hats! (And even cuter kids!) Good job!
SO CUTE! Now make me one that Abby can't rip off. Emma's eyes are HUGE. She's as beautiful as the rest of your kids. Strong work (on the children and the crafts).
Your hats are so cute! That last pic of Sarah so looks like you.
