Sarah "graduated" from 6th grade this June! Her school holds a celebration and awards ceremony at the end of every year for their 6th graders. Sarah had the opportunity to play Cristofori's Dream while the rest of her classmates entered the gym. I was so impressed by her! She did an excellent job and even though I was there to turn the pages for her, I don't think she even looked at her music once. I can't believe how she is able to calm her nerves for a performance and play music from memory!
Sarah received several awards which included recognition for her contributions to the music program at EPO and the President's Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence. We are so proud of her and can't wait for her to start her experiences in junior high!
