Hmmm...

Well, what has happened this week? Nothing too out of the ordinary. I don't even have any new pictures to post. We've finally had some really nice weather. Even a couple of hot days. So we've made good use of them by going to the pool quite a bit. I should take my camera with sometime! There's an idea! Anyway, Sarah has learned to swim a bit. Mostly just dogpaddle, but it's a start. She is daring to jump in and go all the way under water too. This is a big step up from what she dared to do last year. Chloe is a bit intimidated by the water this year so she sticks to playing on the steps. She still loves to go though. We may do some swimming lessons next month.

Kyle is walking around and getting really good at it. He loves going outside on the porch and looking at the cars and things. He also likes to go out there and have Chloe spray him with the squirt bottle - running through the sprinkler - baby style! He is talking all the time, but in his own little language that unfortunately we don't understand. But it's still cute.

Sarah only has 2 weeks of school left. Her last day is the 16th. I think she will miss her class and her teacher, Mrs. Cano. She has really enjoyed her time here. Chloe will be glad to have Sarah home more, at least most of the time. Because of course, the more they are together, the more chances there are to have disagreements. Most of the time they get along really well though and are the best of friends. It is really awesome that they have such a good relationship with each other.

Brad is starting to work graveyard shift tonight. That will be a hard adjustment for everyone, but mostly him. He will probably be on it for about 3 weeks. Hopefully he survives without too much stress and sleep deprivation!

We started teaching primary today. It went well. Brad had to be out in the hall with Kyle during all of class though. We couldn't get him to nap during sacrament meeting so he was really grumpy when class started. He wanted to do his own thing and did not want any grown ups in his way! He is definitely more of a toddler now! Brad finally got him to go to sleep towards the end of the hour and he napped during sharing time.

We've been thinking a lot about all the stuff we want to do in our house and yard when we get home - over the course of the next couple of years. It's fun to think about what we can do to really make our home feel like our very own place and really make it work for us. I know Brad is looking forward to getting home and digging into his jeep too!

That's all for now. Next time I should have some pictures to post!
