At church in mid-April, Kyle looked down at his shoes and noticed something unusual. He caught my attention and showed me what he was seeing. I almost burst out loud laughing. His shoes did not match! He'd been wearing them for a couple of months now and I couldn't believe that not only had I bought mis-matched shoes, but that none of us had noticed them until then. At least they were both black, right?!
Sarah made a cake that was decorated to look like a sunflower. I accidentally bought the wrong Peeps. It was supposed to be made with the chicks, but I bought bunnies. It still looked good, but not the same as the picture. Most importantly though, it tasted great!
Aaron was requesting lots of time to play with his friend H. One day she was over and they dressed up as superheros. Here are their best super poses!

Lastly, here is Emma just after waking up one morning. Yes, she is always beautiful! (At least we sure think so!)

Your kids are wonderful, Courtney. Thanks so much for dinner the other night and sharing in Kyle's birthday celebration. It was so good to see you all and visit for a little! And, YES, Emma is a beauty!!! (and I see has her cell phone with her! :)
